What is Devon Women In Business?

Devon Women In Business (DWIB) is a membership network for women working across the county of Devon. We aim to provide support and celebrate their achievements through women-only networking events, workshops and the annual DWIB Awards.

Louise Jenner, The Dream Job Coach and Maureen Townsend from Astrality Business Services lead the group and together they plan to grow the organisation as a one-stop shop for all Devon Women in Business.

Louise says, “You can find DWIB on all your favourite social media so there is an opportunity for everyone to get involved.”

Supporting Devon Women In Business

The supportive side of DWIB is all about networking but don’t worry, it’s not the kind of networking you might have experienced before!

This is friendly and informal and with the notable exception of the annual DWIB Awards Dinner, all our events are women-only. We’re not here to sell at each other or compare egos; we’re here to build relationships and have conversations.

We believe in the power of collaboration and we love celebrating success.

We plan to expand the kinds of events we run in 2024/25. For now, we meet at least once a month in person and we have online networking on the second Thursday of each month too.
